About Us
Established in spring of 1960 owner-operator ‘Punchy’ Cone serviced and repaired more than tens of thousands of radiators and similar related parts within the 55 years he operated this small shop near downtown Kokomo, Indiana where he was born and raised till his passing in 2015 at 88 yrs old. Now owned and operated by his grandson Phil Cone who worked by his side for nearly 14 years before taking over as a new owner-operator in 2015. Six years later still running the shop as dedicated as his grandfather, now has 21 years of experience himself repairing and replacing radiators and cooling system parts from nearly any make and model on the road, off-road, track, factory and even in the air out in the world today. Our main goal is always to provide the best quality service to our customers as fair prices in a timely manner to get them back to their cooling needs without concern. Every day here at Punchy’s brings new challenges to the shop as the parts we see get older and the new models change in design. Our experience to adapt to every situation to fulfill our customers’ needs keeps us versatile and knowledgeable to successfully bring the best in quality repair and service for your parts. It not uncommon to see an antique Ford Model-A , a Kenworth Truck, A Caterpillar Bulldozer and a vintage John Deere tractor radiator come into the shop all in one day. We love the versatility of repairs and the satisfaction we can offer our customers in such a range of vehicles. Our reputation of being an honest and dependable shop offering quality service keeps many customers coming back as well have had the pride in being our county and our surrounding counties preferred shop for their radiator and cooling parts needs, keeping our government equipment running efficiently.
